The legendary drummer of Emerson, Lake and Palmer is back in Buffalo for another set of ELP classics. Carl’s just embarked on a new tour with his band, “ELP Legacy,” playing all the favorites of the prog band’s storied career.
Despite decades of experience, the skinsman says he’s still learning the instrument. “Absolutely I rip everybody off, as many people as I can! Everything I play, I’ve stolen from somewhere, I just try to play it differently or better. I always tell people, if you go down to the local bar and you stay until 4 oh clock in the morning, I’m sure you’re gonna see a guy some drums who’s not very good, but you’ll see him play something that’s ok.”
