Q-FM-97 WEEKEND

February 10th, 1975 saw the birth of “Q-FM-97,” Buffalo’s album rock station at 96.9.  A few years later, the name changed to “97 Rock”… but the music remained the same- the Rolling Stones, Pink Floyd, Bob Seger, Led Zeppelin, Yes, the Who, ZZ Top, Aerosmith and the numerous artists from the 70’s who built the foundation of what would become known as “classic rock.”

This weekend we’re paying tribute to our Q-FM days with music and audio from the early days of album rock radio.  It’s a Q-FM-97 Weekend… turn a friend on!

Have any memories of the Q-FM-97 days…  a favorite DJ, concert or song from the station in the late 70’s? Tell us below and we may hook you up with a commemorative Q-FM-97 T-Shirt from Dan the Man.
