Former Bills great and CBS football analyst Steve Tasker shares his thoughts about Van Miller and the upcoming season.
Things started out with Steve’s fondest memories of the late, great Van Miller. “We had a different experience with Van than most people did, because we only saw Van when we were on the road. If you started a conversation with him all of a sudden you’re in the middle of a stand up act. It was great though, everybody loved him. And you can imagine we had a little affection for him cause any time we heard his broadcast it was one of our highlights.”
Obviously, we had to ask about the Bills, what are his expectations for next season? “Everybody says, and I agree, that this is a playoff caliber team. I think my goal isn’t just for them to make the playoffs, I would love for this club to get a home playoff game. It would be so cool, and you know the lid would come off western New York then and this whole generation that didn’t know what happened in the 90’s would get a taste of it. It would be fun.”
