Our regular Wednesday hockey guest had to shift his schedule a day, so Morning Bull caught up with veteran Buffalo News Sabres beat reporter Mike Harrington on Thursday, live from Chicago.

Why the Windy City?  Well, Mike’s writing a feature piece on Buffalo native Pat Kane, as well as former Sabre Ryan O’Reilly, due for feature in this weekend’s Buffalo News.

But his feature writing wasn’t the only topic of this week’s conversation.  The Buffalo Sabres are winners of three straight games, including a huge two points Tuesday night on national TV against the Eastern Conference’s best team in the Tampa Bay Lightning.
