Award-winning New York Times culture writer Dave Itzkoff is back with a highly anticipated biography on one of the most beloved 20th century entertainers: Robin Williams.

His bio is not without controversy, as its gaining notoriety for delving into Robin’s insecurities in the comedy and film world, with reported gripes with contemporary comics like Jim Carrey, who beat him out for the role of “The Riddler” in “Batman Forever” in 1996.
