You may have heard this viral story in the news, when a drunk WVU student put the wrong info in his Uber app, and ended up taking a ride back home, to his parents in New Jersey!

That’s right, he slept through so much of the ride after a hard night of partying, that he couldn’t turn back on his way back to his parents’ house.  The price on this 8 hour drive?  $1,600 and change.  Yikes.

There’s a bright spot to the story though, so hear from the young man in his own words on how his rough night became a very expensive ride home.
