March 18-March 23
Legendary vocalist of the Who, Roger Daltrey is coming to the OLG Stage at Fallsview Casino, and you can be there just by listening to the Live Tune @ 2 all this week. Tickets go on sale this Friday at 10am at the Fallsview Casino Box Office, but John Mathews will hook you up all week with tickets and a vinyl copy of the Who Live from Shea Stadium 1982 (Remember when that was supposed to be their final tour?).
This show is not to be missed, with Daltrey performing his favorite classics from the Who along with rarities and solo music. Grammy nominated artist KT Tunstall, known for her hit songs “Black Horse and the Cherry Tree,” and “Suddenly I See will open the show. Daltrey, who first assembled the Who in 1959 while at Acton County School, recruited John Entwistle and subsequently agreed to John’s proposal that Pete Townshend should join. During this tour, expect to see many members of the Who’s touring band backing Daltrey.
