One last time we get to party with Foreigner at a 97 Rock Concert Event at Darien Lake on July 28.
“Many years ago, I wrote a song called ‘Feels Like The First Time’ and today we are launching one last worldwide tour. We will be presenting a show that I know will have the same enthusiasm as our very first appearances,” Mick Jones told our 97 Rock reporter.
Foreigner boasts more top 10 hits than Journey, having sold out arenas across the country since they debuted in 1976 with Rochester native Lou Gramm on lead vocals. For the past 17 years, Kelly Hanson, has graced the mic for Foreigner.
“The time has come. We have more or less lived our lives on the road for almost eighteen years. We have always strived to give you our best and we intend to finish this the same way, said Hanson. “Foreigner has a brilliant and increasingly demanding catalogue of songs to sing and I refuse to give them less than they deserve. So, we’re going to finish strong!”
Loverboy opens the show. Tickets are available at Livenation.com on Friday, November 18.
