Western New York has a lot to offer for all Halloween enthusiasts in and around Buffalo. 97 Rock took it upon ourselves to find 10 of the most popular Halloween events, whether they’re family-friendly or just for the adults and here’s what we found.

The Great Pumpkin Farm: Clarence, NY
Every weekend for the rest of October the Great Pumpkin Farm has events that are full of fun for the whole family. Zombies in the Cornmaze will be featured on October 22nd and 23rd and a Costume Contest to wrap up the end of fall on the 29th and 30th. All Hollows Seas: Aquarium of Niagara, NY
The Aquarium of Niagara will be hosting All Hollows Seas, a pirate-themed adventure, on Saturday 22nd and 29th. The aquarium has extended their closing time until 6 pm on Saturdays until the end of October and admissions is $10 for children that arrive in costume. This event offers a variety of activities including scavenger hunts, spooky seal presentations, buccaneer-themed sea lion shows, ring-toss and trivia, a hay maze and much more! Galleria of Treats: Walden Galleria Mall
The Walden Galleria is hosting the Galleria of Treats, a family-friendly indoor trick or treating event on October 27th from noon until 8 pm. This will be held on the lower-level beginning near Forever 21 and pre-sale tickets can be purchased now until October 26 for two-hour time slots. Tickets can also be purchased day-of for $5. Becker Farms Haunted Hayride: Gasport, NY
The popular Becker Farms Haunted Hayride returns Friday, October 14 and ends Sunday, October 30. The Haunted Hayride is held Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays from 7 pm until 9 pm and takes you through the forests of Becker Farms. There are plenty of attractions offered with the purchase of a ticket including the petting zoo, corn maze, grape maze, and playground. Celebrate Halloween! At the Buffalo Zoo: Buffalo, NY
The Buffalo Zoo is back with its classic Celebrate Halloween! Event on October 22nd and 23rd. This event offers families to travel through the zoo while observing curious creatures, winding through the trick-or-treat trail, and adventuring through the corn maze. Rockin’ Halloween Hauntfest: Akron, NY
97 Rock’s very own Shredd and Ragan are hosting the first annual Rockin’ Halloween Hauntfest at the Backlot Entertainment Venue October 29th at 5:00pm. This event will include food trucks, vendors, live music and free parking with the purchase of a ticket. In addition, there will be a costume contest with a $1,000 grand prize! Halloween Boo’zin Bar Crawl: Downtown Buffalo
Buffalo’s Boo’zin Bar Crawl is hosting its downtown Buffalo bar crawl on October 29 starting at 1 pm. This is a 21+ event only and tickets are on sale now that include your own score card, cover to participating bars, drink specials and a bar crawl t-shirt for the first 300 people that finish the bar crawl. Some of the participating bars include VENU, Rec Room, 67 West, The Cowboy, and many more! Ghost Hunts at Rolling Hills Asylum: East Bethany, NY
Sign up now for the opportunity to take a tour through the Rolling Hills Asylum. With over 50 tour options to choose from there are plenty of ways to experience the Rolling Hills Asylum for different price options. Dive into the past and learn about the rich history of this haunted attraction and possibly experience your very own paranormal encounter. Crawl-O-Ween East Aurora to Benefit the Buffalo Autism Project: East Aurora, NY
The Buffalo Autism Project is hosting its annual Crawl-O-Ween to raise money for the non-profit organization. The bar crawl will be held on October 22 from 2 pm-8 pm with tickets starting at $15 for pre-sale and $20 day of. Participants are encouraged to dress up in their best Halloween costume and prizes will be awarded.
