Monday’s Morning Bull, back at it, with a Buffalo Bills victory Monday after they took care of the Steelers on SNF last night. We had sound from post-game from the key players, QB and coach; and we also had a bunch of highlights peppered throughout the show to really bring home the big Bills win yesterday. Josh Reed of WIVB called after a late night at the stadium and we even did some shoutouts from over the weekend at our Tops Tailgate To Go!
Everyone has to wrap gifts for Christmas, usually. We wanted to have a discussion about how hard it is for men and sometimes even women! Is it difficult for you or do you really enjoy the process of wrapping? Plenty of texts from you were had and we didnt really have a decision or verdict on wrapping, but it was worth the discussion to see how we all can sometimes struggle with it.
Bull sent out his Christmas cards for 2020 and the picture on the front was hilarious and even incorporated his beard as Santa in it! He talked about the process and who he sent them to and of course, Rob had to rip it in any way possible!

Tuesdays Morning Bull was loaded up with plenty of Christmas spirit and topics; such as Christmas cards, Santa and even a guest from the Trans-Siberian Orchestra! We also talked Bills heading to Denver to take on the Broncos this Saturday and we needed slogans to taunt the Broncos on our weekly tailgate poster! Robs mother called in and we had plenty of fun talking with her as well!
Joining us from various media outlets in Buffalo was good friend Brad Riter to talk about a new Buffalo Bills based board game he created called ‘Who’s The Man?’! Hes as knowledgable about Buffalo sports as anyone so it was cool to hear the work he put in to make this Buffalo Bills-based trivia game! We even had some time to talk Bills and Bulls with him as well!
Bull sent out his Christmas cards for 2020 and the picture on the front was revealed to us yesterday. Well, today we discussed it. How did it happen, who is getting the card, the details about how his beard was groomed for the picture and a whole lot more! This also got us talking about general Christmas cards and what is acceptable and what is not!
Jeff Plate is the drummer for Trans-Siberian Orchestra and he dropped in for a few minutes in the middle of the show to talk about their performance this year, the theme, how to get tickets through them and on 97Rock.com and much more! He talked about some of the history of the band and even detailed the way everything has changed and got better over the years.

Wednesdays Morning Bull was fully prepared to bring you plenty of Christmas spirit, as well as our usual fun! We were joined by ‘Snippy’ the Elf from the North Pole and he gave us an idea of how busy they are getting and how much he “loves” this time of the year. Journey Gundarson from the National Comedy Center in Jamestown to tell us about the latest holiday deals you can take advantage of. Finally, we even talked a virtual comedy show coming your way this Friday! Hey, even Tom Brady came up briefly today!
Plenty of Christmas topics were afoot, this included the debate, this year, about Christmas cookies and whether we would eat them or not due to COVID. We all had some differing opinions and they are far from ‘words to live by’, but Rob had a very strong stance that he stood up for—as usual, it was pretty funny.
We discussed the idea of people thinking about Christmas cookies differently this year with the pandemic. Does that or will that hamper us four or YOU from engorging on the holiday treats? We discussed and debated and it and took your texts and we still didnt get a straight answer, but it was fun!
Joining us all the way from the North Pole was our annual buddy ‘Snippy’ the Elf! We gave him a ring to check in on him and how they have been handling 2020 and the pandemic out at Santas workshop. He was, as his name suggests, snippy and short tempered, as he always is, but he answered our questions and even made us laugh!
SNIPPY:
The debate of who we should tip and why during this time and the holidays took place here on Morning Bull; and of course, we all had some pretty distinctive points of view on the matter and so did you! We took your texts on how you tip your delivery people, the amount and how you determine who to tip!
WEDNESDAYS SHOW:

Thursdays Morning Bull was the last day all four of us would be together on the show together before the end of 2020 and obviously, the beginning of 2021! Therefore, we had our ‘white elephant gift exchange’ amongst ourselves to celebrate the holiday coming up. It was the first significant snow of the season today and we talked plenty about it sparsed throughout the program.
A ‘white elephant’ gift exchanged is, very simply, a present exchange that involves every person picking a ‘dumb, crappy’ gift from their homes and then blindly picking, revealing and switching them between eachother. It was a lot of fun and all four of the players werent exactly THRILLED about our presents we ended with…oh well! Merry Christmas!
With COVID being a major issue with everything this year, office holiday parties are pretty much off limits for in person gatherings. Therefore, we wanted to ask you and discuss what we’re all doing in place of office parties for Christmas. The response was great and we ended up realizing its probably best we arent able to ‘let loose’ this year!

Merry Christmas to all, and to all Good Morning Bull on this last day of ‘regular programming’ for us on this Friday Decmber 18th, 2020! For our last day before we kick off the ‘BOMB’ – Best of Morning Bull, we had so much holiday themed stuff like interviews and topics, we could barely fit it all in! Vic Carucci stopped by for his last visit before Christmas to talk Bills @ Broncos with us!
Robby Takac is the bassist and backing/co-lead vocalist for Buffalo’s own Goo Goo Dolls and happens to be a great friend of the show and obviously the region! He gave us a ring today to talk about his virtual show taking place tonight in benefit for his Music Is Art foundation. We gave you info on how to get involved and see the show tonight as well as asked Robby what he has been up to and how the ‘Dolls’ are doing.
ROBBIE:
From ‘the Office’, very famously portraying Meredith, Kate Flannery called the show to promote her new Christmas album with actress and comedienne Jane Lynch. They were in Buffalo together just last year to perform and sing and she reminisced on that a bit with us during her visit. She also talked some ‘Office’ with us too.
Lead singer and rocker from Twister Sister, Dee Snider joins us every so often because he is so available, and we really enjoy getting him on when we can. He talked his latest Christmas single released with Lzzy Hale, that he wrote about 30 years ago, that he originally sold to Celine Dion which went on to be included in the greatest selling Christmas album of all time. He told us some behind the scenes stories of the song and even some Christmas topics as well!
DEE:
We had a chance to talk Christmas spirit and that included a great discussion about ugly Christmas sweaters and where, when and how we wear them! We had our own sweaters on to compete for the ugliest and we asked you to participate and let us know too! Its ugly Christmas Sweater Day!
