After a 10 day break, Buffalo Sabres fans and players were antsy for the team to get back on the ice.  They opened their back stretch of the season at Columbus last night, in a close, back-and-forth affair that resulted in a tough, 5-4 win in regulation.

It’s a big first step for the Blue and Gold, who find themselves just two points out of a playoff spot entering tonight’s action.  Buffalo News Sabres beat reporter Mike Harrington talks about the big win, and how they are finally finding their secondary scoring touch.
