The New England Patriots clinched an NFL record 8th straight appearance in the AFC Championship with a blow out win at home versus the Chargers last night. The game wasn’t close, and they effectively enter Kansas City as the de facto favorites to represent the conference again in the big game.
Technically, Kansas City is the slight favorite, with sports books opening this morning at a 3.5 point spread, but to discount Brady and Belichick in the playoffs can only mean disappointment, says 1270 The Fan’s Jerry Sullivan.
