A former writer for “The Late Show” with David Letterman, Bill Scheft, wrote the forward to a super cool tell-all for any fan of late night comedy TV.

It’s called “The Last Days of Letterman”, profiling Dave’s final weeks on the show that changed late night forever.

As you might suspect, Bill’s chock full of stories of the legendary host, and this interview below is no exception.  Bill shares a hilarious story of what he and his crew had to do to pull off a last-minute stunt suggested by a fan in the crowd during that show’s rehearsal.
