It’s hard to believe the Buffalo Sabres are above .500 this late into October!  That’s right, after back-to-back wins in southern California, Buffalo’s back home tomorrow night with a 5-4 record.

It’s actually the fastest they’ve earned 5 wins since the 2011-2012 season, which is also hard to believe.  Is their modest improvement this month the signs of a long-term turnaround for the blue and gold?
