Any proud Buffalonian who attended concerts in the 70’s and 80’s owe “Harvey and Corky” productions for providing them top-shelf entertainment. They booked shows at their venue, “Stage One”, as well as shows at the old Aud, Rich Stadium and more.
When you’re the marketing director of a major concert promotion company, you’re bound to have seen plenty of shocking moments throughout your career. That brings Morning Bull to Brian Dickman, formerly of said “Harvey and Corky” productions.
Thank goodness Brian’s memory is so sharp, as opposed to, well, the entire Morning Bull staff. He shares some awesome Buffalo music stories, including the night the balcony at Shea’s rocked so hard at a U2 concert the venue’s staff threatened to shut it down, the time that a woman got stuck in an Aud vent shaft, and if Van Halen’s infamous rider was really as difficult as legend says.
Share some laughs and learn some shocking Buffalo music moments with Brian Dickman below.
