A true Buffalo beer historian, if not THE Buffalo beer historian, Tim Herzog of Flying Bison Brewery wrapped up History of Buffalo Beer Week on a high note.
Morning Bull had an awesome time with Tim in studio on Friday talking all things Buffalo beer. Tim knows his stuff, from Buffalo’s German immigrants starting the brewing culture in the 1900’s, to the growth of Iroquois and Simon Pure’s dominance in WNY, to the demise of the original industry in the late ’70s.
Tim came bearing gifts, too, with a handful of delicious brews from his 20 year old brewery on Seneca St in Larkinville.
Thanks @flyingbison Tim for the beer and the cool stories and info on History of #Buffalo Beer week. @97RockBuffalo pic.twitter.com/e1lMp3yJXP
