This is a pretty cool “stranger than fiction” story.  Derek Amato injured his head in a pool about eleven years ago, and a very rare thing happened to him after he recovered.

Despite very little formal musical training, Derek was suddenly able to play piano at a professional concert level, equal to anyone in a philharmonic orchestra.
