Can Sabres fans expect genuine change this offseason? Buffalo News reporter Mike Harrington seems to think so. He was one of the several media members grilling GM Jason Botterill at yesterday’s season ending press conference, and even the hardened skeptics came away with some positive vibes for the next season.
In fact, Mike Harrington thinks he’s never seen a Sabres GM as angry as Botterill was for that press conference in years covering the team. So perhaps that anger can translate into positivity for a team that finished last for the 3rd time in 5 seasons.
“I’ve been here for one year and I was pretty pissed off and upset throughout the year. I guess I could be articulate but it sucks that we won’t be watching live playoff hockey and it’ll all be on TV ” #Sabres @WKBW pic.twitter.com/8mNNQvBZlu
