Beechwood Golf and Country Club
Beechwood Golf and Country Club located in beautiful Niagara Falls, ON was once the scene of musket fire and fighting, June 24th, 1813 to be exact, when British forces surprised the invading American troops in the Battle of Beaverdams. The fierce engagement which lasted three hours, is recorded in American history as the “Battle at the Beech Woods”. The battle was fought in an area that covers from today’s golf course west to the present Welland Canal. Canadian heroine Laura Secord is remembered for her famous walk from St. Davids to DeCew House to warn the British of the impending attack. Previous to becoming a golf course in 1960, Beechwood was worked as farmland for over 100 years. The “Old Barn”, which provides the unique focal point to our clubhouse, was built in 1883. Originally located where the ninth green presently sits, the barn stood over twelve feet higher before it was moved.

Originally founded in 1927 Cardinal Hills has developed into a beautiful 18 hole – par 72 course. Gentle rolling hills and undulations provide an enjoyable yet challenging golf experience and the scenic views and natural rural settings which surround the course are one of a kind. Additional amenities include pro shop merchandise, dining and a relaxed bar atmosphere. Weekday and weekend rates are very reasonable – stop by to see what Cardinal Hills has to offer, we’d love to meet you!
Concord Crest Golf Course
The primary architect for Concord Crest Golf Course was Mother Nature herself, as the layout takes full advantage of wetlands, creeks, ponds, and a stand of old trees. Mature sugar maples that once were harvested for maple syrup, give this venue the feel of a well cared for course. The rolling hillside and meandering streams dominate the scenery in this pastoral setting. The New York State Bluebird Society has chosen the course to part of the State wide “Bluebird Trail.” Errant golf shots end up in wetlands, not backyards, as there are few homes and no condominiums to disrupt the view surrounding the course. Great Golf, Reasonably Priced, Fantastic Customer Service.
International Country Club of Niagara
Located a short drive from the roar of the “Mighty Niagara” and just minutes away from historic battles of the War of 1812 lies the sleepy little town of Stevensville, Ontario. Constructed in 1976, International Country Club of Niagara if one of the Niagara region’s hidden golf gems. International Country Club of Niagara is a 27-hole golf facility with a full length driving range that features three distinct 9-hole courses that will challenge golfers of all skill levels. The courses aptly named Red, White and Blue (in honor of the colors that fly in the flags of Canada and the United States) offers a course that ranges from 4400 yards from the newest Forward Tees to nearly 6900 yards from the tips. While you can afford to spray a shot or two on the Red and White courses, the Blue course requires a little more focus. International Country Club of Niagara does not have a “Signature Hole” as there are too many holes that are both visually appealing and challenging to the golfer. Since the new ownership took over International Country Club three years ago the golf course has seen a resurgence and several upgrades. Many of these changes took place in the 2014 golf season. These upgrades include:
* A new club house scheduled to open in April 2015
* New golf carts in 2015
* All cart paths were resurfaced.
* Drainage throughout the golf course was re-constructed.
* In an effort to be a part of the “speed up the play” initiative. International Country Club of Niagara removed some bunkers and filled them in with soil and seed.
* A new set of “Forward Tees” were constructed. This allows golfers (young and old alike) to play a course that is fair to the golfers skill level.
There has been a lot of change and the best is yet to come.
