Lori Munn- “If you’re looking for one of WNY’s biggest Springsteen fans, look no further. I have been a 97 Rock listener, and a fan of the Boss, for decades. I had a lot of fun with this contest, but it was difficult to chose just one photo. Hope you enjoy those which have been enclosed. I would love to see The Boss in Buffalo this week, and it would be an honor to win the tickets. BBBRRRUUUCCEE!!”

149-MarkLawrence600

Mark Lawrence- “I consider myself to be a die hard “Boss” fan having tramped around the world (as far as Italy) to see him 78 times since 1980. My first show was at the Memorial Auditorium in Buffalo for the 1980 “River Tour” with my now wife of 35 years.

In the photos you can see I’m holding a Bruce Springsteen and the E Street Band autographed “The River” album given to me as a gift from my son, tickets stubs from almost all the shows I’ve attended, a hand written set list from Bruce which was the last show of “The Rising Tour” from Shea Stadium.  There is also a photo of my daughter on stage with Bruce in Charlotte 2014. It’s a family affair  when Bruce and the band tour there is always a family vacation or reunion whether it’s a local, domestic or overseas show. Bruce’s music brings our family together no matter how busy or far we are; we always make the effort to see the shows as a family.

154-Eileen-Torre600

Eileen Torre – “This is solid proof that I am a huge Bruce Springsteen fan.  My first ever Bruce Springsteen concert was in Frankfurt, Germany in 1981 as “The River” album was being promoted.  This t-shirt has survived many, many moves throughout Europe and the USA and it still part of my life 35 years later! Yep, I sure do love the Boss xoxo.”

153-Leesa-Easton600

Leesa Easton- “A picture of me holding a “Born in the USA” album cover the way it should have been done…ALL BFLO!! Check it out up close!  My husband and I went to a Bruuuuuce concert when we first started dating and have gone to a few since then. We have been married 32 years, Feb. 18th, and we need to see Bruce again. What a great anniversary celebration! He truly is THE BOSS!

157-Danielle-Pietrocarlo600

Danielle Pietrocario- “Hi- My name Danielle Pietrocarlo. In 2009 when I was 5 months pregnant with my first daughter, I went to see The Boss in Charlotte NC. It the first time I felt her kick! She has loved concerts and music since. It would only make sense to see The Boss again with baby girl #2 at 6 months pregnant!”

156-Johnny-Woods600

Johnny Woods- “”Born in the USA tour. In the Blues, for those who remember. Best thing about the pic: More of ticket means less of me.”

164-Jeff-Mcculloch600

Jeff McCulloch- “This picture is from April 13th 2012 after the show at the airport. Bruce to date has been the most personal celebrity that has traveled through Buffalo niagara. He took time to greet everyone taking photos and signing autographs, all along quizzing people on that nights set list. He again reminded me that I was very lucky to see him and his Born in the USA tour in Toronto July 1984. My first concert ever at the age of 8 with my sister Julie age 13 at the time (crazy).  Thanks Bruce for being you. Miss you Sis.”

159-MikeAlaimo600

Mike Alaimo- “The top photo is the  “Greetings from Buffalo”  promo for the 11/22/09 Springsteen show at HSBC Arena. That show marked the only time Bruce and E-Street have performed “Greetings from Asbury Park” live in its entirety.  It was the last  show of the tour and it also marked Clarence Clemons’ last performance with the E-Street Band. The bottom photo is the original “Greetings from Asbury Park” album cover.”

166-Jane-Krebs100

Jane Krebs- “Attached is my picture from February 1981.  Its me (on the right) with my best friend to date.  We’re wearing our concert t-shirts from the River Tour at the aud on 12/4/80. We are celebrating Valentine’s Day with an ice cream cake from Carvel that has “Two Hearts Are Better Than One” written on it. To date, that concert is still #1 of all time!”

167-Emily-Garey600

Emily Garey- “Are you ready to have a good time BUFFALO!!!!!! I know I am!!! While I may be amongst he younger crowd of Bruce fans I am no less a diehard fan! Bruce’s music has seen me through the very best and worst days of life so far..

These pictures are from a concert in Verona, NY (8/30/12) when I was fortunate to share and enjoy my passion with my son, Dylan, beside me (at his very first Bruce concert).  A memory I will cherish forever <3 A boy similar in age to Dylan, standing about 25 people closer to the stage than where we stood was lifted by Bruce to join him in singing “Waitin’ On A Sunny Day!”

-It fell nothing short of indescribable and it truly was Magic in the Night’.

A few years after chasing the clouds away, there Bruce was playing (loudly) in the background (and literally as can be seen here) as I readied myself for my Wedding Day and then on into a very special, reception entrance with my husband to “Because the Night,” where I later shared a sacred father-daughter moment during our last dance to “When You Need Me.” #illbethere

Thank you to Bruce and the E-Street Band for all of these lasting memories and for radiating my soul every morning commute to work!!!  Hope to see you again in BUFFALO!!

As Bruce’s favorite classic childhood story goes..        #lionsandtigersandBRUCEohmy!”

152-Frans-de-Waal600

Frans de Waal- “You can never have enough Bruce albums.”

172-Paulette-Henry600

Paulette Henry

I was a senior at SUNY Oswego in December, 1975, when Bruce and band performed at Laker Hall Gym on campus.  I sat on the floor, about 10 feet from the stage. After the show I was able to get his autograph and as you can see, I still have it in my old photo album along with the ticket and pictures of Bruce and Clarence taken with my Brownie camera. (I blew up the ticket and autograph so you could see it better).

My 1976 senior yearbook contains pictures of the concert, including two which are in the frame behind me.  For reference, the yearbook cover is in the middle of those pictures.  I’ve continued to be a big fan over the years.

Kevin OBrien

My name is Kevin Obrien and I have seen “the Boss” a few times over the years. I bought tickets for the Wrecking Ball Tour at Giants Stadium to take my friend Barb for our mutual Birthday celebrations. Before the show came Barb passed away from cancer but I wrote to Bruce and Little Stephen sent an autographed photo back to Barb. My Christmas wish is to see The River Anniversary  Tour here in Buffalo in February for my birthday.

180-Moe600

Moe Villella- “This photo was taken back on November 1st 2003 at the legendary Stone Pony. It was taken after the 4th annual Light of Day show for Parkinson’s. Bruce is never on the bill but has been known to show up to this event in the past. That night he played, he called up Michael J Fox to play with him. It was one of those unbelievable nights that I won’t ever forget.  When the show was over I got back into the Stone Pony.

They was maybe 20 people left in the place and that’s when I met Bruce and took my picture with him.  I am in the middle and the person to my left is a friend of mine Rico. We are both from Niagara Falls. This photo was taken at about 3am. This is the Boss I show you.”

We drove the cars to the show early and parked near 97 Rock. The car on the left was my 1st car and I bought the car on the right at a junk yard for $50. We got it running and it was my brother Bill’s 1st car.  We drove them painted for months, lived on hopkins road.”
